D. Fill in the further details about your business. You will have opportunity to fill in keywords about your business – very important for establishing your brand not only on Facebook, but also throughout the web, and the search engines like it.
E. Upload your logo and use it as your profile picture. Very important for brand recognition.
F. Make sure to input the various ways to contact you, be it by phone, email or twitter – it’s great to provide other Facebook users with options, and if you are advertising different products they need to be able to act on your advertisement.
G. Now you’re ready to add your fans. It’s a good idea to get employees, colleagues and friends to become fans of your page and ask them to “spread the word”. Make sure to promote your new page through twitter, linked in, and you can also inform your other contacts about it using their email addresses. Make sure to include links to your Facebook page in your profiles and signatures on other services.
H. When you have 25 fans, you will be eligible for a “vanity” URL for your Facebook page. This is a much simpler URL, which makes it easier for users to find your page or go directly to it.
